Power Brake Booster

Uses manifold vacuum to assist brake pedal force.

There is vacuum on both sides of the diaphragm until brake pedal force is "felt". Then the vacuum is "leaked via a valve allowing atmospheric pressure behind diaphragm helping the pushrod.
